I agree with assigning a teacher to fully dedicate their efforts to developing and maintaining an enrichment program at GVCS. I would be interested in learning what the screening process would be for admitting students into the program.
Since we are not able to assign a full-time teacher to Enrichment this year, we have made some changes that should help with the Enrichment of our top students. Some of these changes are in scheduling of Enrichment time within the classroom with aide support, some include a new technology position within the district, and some we are going to continue to experiment with. We are also looking for volunteers willing to help Enrich our learners!
I am the Elementary Principal at Genesee Valley Central School. We are located in Belmont, NY and serve approximately 800 students. This school is a wonderful, caring place to work and attend.

I would suggest hiring an Enrichment Teacher who can fully devote the time and creativity needed for an enrichment program.
